You had to pick this topic! <g>

As I sit here watching the snow, which is blowing around in the gale, I notice petals of various purple plum, Bradford pear and flowering cherries tossing in the mix.
But it's so cold and windy there is no way I'm going out there!

The rest of the week doesn't look much better.

I may have jumped the gun a little with this week's topic. But there are new flowers blooming everywhere here in Oregon... :D

Taking the shot during the week isn't mandatory, just a suggestion to get everyone out with their camera's. If you can't get out because of the weather or flowers are not blooming yet in your area, maybe an indoor shot of cut flowers is an option. The entry can be from a shot taken anytime if nothing new is available.

Oh I've been out! There ARE flowers out there, but they're kind of wind-tossed and frost bitten. But I will perservere. No flowers today, but had some good luck with deer.

glad to see the consensus about the flowers. There are absolutely no flowers here either.
I even checked to see if the volunteer dafodils were blooming in the ditch, but they aren't.
I'll bow out of this one and just watch for a few weeks.

Where there's a will theres a way, Im sure if people got creative enough they could find some suitable paterned wall paper somewhere :)

Not many flowers out in the wild here either but that merely means one has to be creative, which is the whole point of these challenges.

Blimey, go out and by some for your missus/significant other/miscellaneous or something you lot, or come up with a different take on the theme... :D

Planning to have a proper go at this one over the weekend. I got a backdrop and everything :)

we have had lots of flowers. And lots of rain and wind. And when the sun was out, the lawnmowers have been busy!

But I managed to get a shot.

Just a little side note.. I thought we had agreed that each image is supposed to be strictly 800px. Yes I know mine is extremly huge, I am working to fix that on my photobucket.. but it is being very stubborn.

As I recall, the longest side *has* to be 800px.
