yea.. they blew right past me... :D
actually Amtrak had a set of this kind for a test 1992-93 to see if they wanted to buy it from sweden.. but they decided to buy from another manufacturer.

That is what it looks like to me to.

SJ is the railcompany that owns all the X2000 trains, that was built by ABB (http://www.abb.se/global/seabb/seabb360.nsf/language/us) and it was built between 1989 -98, this is the first expresstrain in sweden, with the standard maximum speed is 210 Km/h, but the speedrecord for this is 276 km/h.

Nice looking equipment. Any country that can build Saabs and Volvos is certainly capable of making good-looking trains too.

i'm happy that i dont live in "El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de los Angeles de Poriuncula" or live in "Krungthep Maha Nakorn, Amarn Rattanakosindra, Mahindrayudhya, Mahadilokpop Noparatana Rajdhani Mahasathan, Amorn Piman Avatarn Satit, Sakkatultiya Vishnukarn Prasit" and have to tell people where i live.. :D
