Was bored so I took a few shots of stuff in my yard. First one is my rusted lanter thingy and the second is of bird in my bird feeder.

Shot #1 is begging to be a macro shot. Concentrate on the ruse and silver material. There is a great shot there.

Shot #2 - Bird? I don't see no stinking bird.

Comment on the added shot: Get even closer. Believe me, there is a wonderful rust/silver macro shot here. You may need a macro lens or extension tube.

This was taken with the kit lens in macro mode. I still have to get a dedicated macro lens

Cool! I like the chain in the third shot. The colors and light in the forst shot are also really well captured.
