I'm sorry if this has been answered but I did a search and found nothing. I just purchased the a620 with a pqi 2gb sd card. I can move through all of the functions but when I try to take a photo It does not store the picture to the card. I go to the view option and it says no image on the lcd. The card is not locked by the way. The weird thing is ,when I plug it into my computer and hit the "take a photo" button it stores it to the camera BUT when I go to a menu and then try to view the photo again It is gone and says no image. I have read the manual 5 times and looked all over for an answer to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated. Excelent fourm by the way!

i think there is a compatibility issue between PQI sd card and canon digicam as my friend experience it with a 128MB PQI sd card in his A520.

That sounds like it is most likely the problem. I've never had that issue with my 620 before, and with everything I put this lil sucker through I ought to by now!
Try borrowing a friend's memory card of a different brand, or test the small one that came witht he camera and see if the problem persists then. If so I would send it back to Canon with a letter explaining what's happening.
