That could be structural failure as well. Some of these units have millions of miles on them.

This trailer looks fairly new. My guess is that either the trailer was loaded too heavy in the middle or the driver had to stop quickly and the ultra-heavy items over the rear wheels slid to the middle. These dry vans are made as light as possible to fit the most cargo in (note the plastic translucent roof), but they should be loaded evenly. Or it was just a structural failure!

Well I have never seen that.

btw those jacks are strong. Could probably lift 6 trucks. We have a train smash rescue unit locally and they have huge jacks for loco engines.
