Rescued dog

My friend volunteers with the The Internet Miniature Pinscher Service, Inc. (http://www.minpinrescue.org/) This is one of his current foster dogs, named Truman.

Sorry, there's nothing exceptional about this shot at all, I've just been shooting with my new 50mm 1.8 for a few days now and due to weather, I don't have much worth sharing. Hopefully I can come back with more interesting material later this week.

There is indeed something expeceptional ... That little dog's face melts my heart. He's beautiful and you've really opened up his eyes.

The catchlights came courtesy of a set of large sliding glass doors in my friend's kitchen... That's why they have that nice uniform square shape. The rest of his house is rather poorly lit so we fed Truman right next to the door. The little guy is so camera-friendly it's incredible. I've taken pictures of all the foster dogs my friend's had, but so far he's the only one who will actually sit there and wait for me to finish.
