hi Brian, it is not from the siamese fighter family which belongs to the Splendens Complex(bubble nester).
betta macrostoma belongs to Unimaculata Complex which is of bigger size and mouthbrood family.:)
hi Leorooster, mine is around 4inches in length. this fish can grow up to 5inches+.......:)

what a lovely fish.............
the 1st one is my fave of the shots....
considering you took them through glass , with all the problems that can bring you did a great job
