Hi,

I've been a lurker for a while here and really appreciate the information that flows here from one user to the other !!

Anyways .. on to my question .. has anybody tried matching up the lighting and film speed settings in a G2 (or any other digital) camera to film based SLRs at the same ISO rating ??

I was wondering if the settings could be directly applicable.. thataway, I could shoot several pics with my G2, pick the image with the best exposure and plug those values into my SLR ....

Obviously, the ISO ratings usable will be 50 to 400 initially - but that should be more than enough for most situations and available filmspeeds....

any input is welcome .... If I will probably try this out the next time I go out and start shooting with my SLR (I use slide film mostly)... will let y'all know of the results ...

Best regards & Seasons Greetings !!
