Neckstrap

I've only had the Canon S2 in my hands since March 23rd. Already , the supplied Canon neckstrap is starting to fray badly. This never happened to my 10D which I've had over two years. The neckstrap on the S2 IS is already falling apart. Is this a problem for this camera or did I get a really poor neckstrap?
I'm surprised that the quality of this particular item is so poor.

Don't know what to tell you - I ordered the neckstrap available here on the forum about one month into my life with the S2 and never used the one that came with it again.
The one from the forum is much more comfortable too.

i got my s2 on march 24th and the neck strap isnt fraying... yet. it looks like it might start to. im thinking about getting a new one because this one is kinda uncomfortable.
