does anyone use a filter of any kind for outdoor shots to help with glare? when i am photographing snakes in the wild i get so much glare from their bodies it ruins many shots. just wondered if anyone uses filters on animals or bugs?

Just make sure you have plenty of light, as using a polarising filter will cost you a couple of stops. Meaning your shutter speeds will need to be slower.
