View Full Version : Playing with paper

I started out wanting to explore the texture of wadded up paper. Somehow it didn't really work out the way I had envisioned it in my mind. I tried a few closeups and various compositions but this is the best I could come up with. My wife thought I was crazy trying to take pictures of wadded up paper, so she made a little crane for me to shoot instead...
Any suggestions?

Both pictures look really nice, and it's a fantastic idea. I'm kindof partial towards the paper crane; the leading lines (on the floor?) are really great, and the shadow isn't as blobby. Great light!

I really like the crane. The simplicty and lighting. Beautiful.

Thanks for the comments.
I agree that it's probably the blob-like shadow that I didn't like. And the crumpled paper doesn't create the same nice, clean leading line like the shadow from the paper bird. (it might be a swan. I'm not much of an origami ornithologist)
Thanks for looking.
