300D lens mount

Does the EOS 300D have a plastic or metal lens mount? The EOS 300 has a plastic mount while the EOS 300V has a metal mount. Just wondering as the 300D is based on the 300V.

Fortunately it has a metal lens mount. Unfortunately it doesn't extend to the EFS 18-55. It seems to have a plastic (carbon?) mount, but it seems to be a light lens, so probably it isn't so important.
