A slightly wider frame could make it perfect. And it is my subjective view that bringing the point of focus a few mm towards the shooting point would increase the depth as well as the impact.

very beautiful and sharp shot. I'd like to see a slight bit more of the top of the frame however, but its not a huge isssue

Love the sharpness of the center. Great DOF, works very well in this capture. Nice colors and contrast. The flower being out of frame doesn't bother me in this picture. My eye seems to be led into the picture from the bottom and moves upward into the focused area and then led out the top of the picture before it loses focus again and I like that.

Thanks again ... I was trying to concentrate on the center of the flower yet keeping it slightly off center at the same time thus while controlling the DOF at f/4. The Photo was taken with my Canon 30D + 70-200 f/4L and used an 18% gray cloth to set the White Balance.
