A510 Shtter won't open?

70180I have a pic of how the shutter only opens about 1/16th of an inch when I power my A510. I have already sent it back to the factory repair center twice for the same reason. It just started again today. It's opens fully about 50% of the time. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Have you explained them what the problem is? Maybe they turned the camera on 2-3 times, and luckily all those were on the good side of the coin. So they figured there's nothing wrong with it.

I having the exact some problem. It started doing it about 7 months after I got it, and sent it back under warranty, fixed it, but now another 6 months later it's doing it again. When I googled it (which is how I found this place) I also found some other people having the same problem: http://www.needynerdy.com/nerdy/node/45

I end up just flicking it with my finger to get it open, but for those impromtu shots it's really annoying if it decides to do it.
