ixus 700

hello.i have an ixus 700 with a broken lcd.
i ordered a new one from a site but i still waiting. the problem i have it is not this! the camera works fine but suddenly the zoom remain open and something is hearing.i can't take any shots. i opened the camera and in a moment i took pictures but not clear.after that it is not working and it has a black screen and in the left down corner has an " E18 ". if some thing know something please help.
i'm from Greece so please sorry for my grammary.

Sounds like you've dropped the camera. Anyway, you should send it in. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do/buy about the zoom at home.
