Is there a way to save pictures at a lower quality then they were shot at. I am trying to post some pics to the web and email some, but they are very large file sizes. I know I can change the quality in the camera, but how can I do it afterward. I have the software that came with my 10D and PS 7.

Save images as a jpeg and adjust the quality when it ask in Elements 2. Most websites use 72 DPI.

Use the "save as" when the jpeg dialog box comes up, reduce the Quality rating, at the bottom of the box, it will tell you what the file size is and how long it will take(approx) to load on the "net"

If you have xp you can just highlight the photos holing the control buton the click on the email or send to option. Next a screen asking you if you want to decrease the size or leave same size. Say yes and in a second or two all the photos a downsized automaticly for the web and you can send them.
