Here is another Edinburgh shot where I live. Obviously the colours caught my attention. It has had levels applied in Photoshop, and saturation boosted some to improve

WOW,
I really like that. The total image has the abstract quality of a Piet Mondrian painting, yet the composition is made of recognizable parts. Excellent catch. THAT is what I was hoping for in my shot off of the Space Needle.

I appreciate your comments and am glad you see what I see in it. I had a look at your shot from the Space Needle, and I think it is good. It doesn't have the same colour punch of my own one, but I do love the abstract feel to it. I think the most compelling part of the image is the grouping of houses in the centre area. Maybe you should crop it just showing them? Just my opinion.

This is nice Martin! Almost an abstract of geometric shapes and colors. Very pleasing to the eye.
