It resembles a shield bug, but not sure on this one.

Awesome shot! That's an assassin bug!That beak is made to pierce insect hide and inject toxins like a spider for the assassin bug to suck out! mmmm yum!

Yup, I thought so, but wasnt sure, we have many different variations of them here, its hard to keep them all straight.:D :D :D

Nice shot, just watch out, assassin bugs (some species) feed on blood and like to creep into your room at night and get you. :( Thus the name "Assassin".

Very nice shot though, hopefully he will thank you for it by not biting you, jk lol :D
