when i take a wide pix . there is redline follow around the object.
here are 2 samples ( focal 28 MM )

the redline follows the arm and shoulder.
does anyone have this problem? i know it's not the lens because i have tested different lenses but same result.
i sent it to canon to fix it and got it back a week later, but nothing seems to be fixed .. the redline is still there.
i'm thinking to send it back to canon again. but i'm afraid they don't fix a thing on it.

Your pics say "remote linking forbidden - please upgrade your account."
I was sure it was the lens until you said you tried others. I guess I still suspect the lens though. What lenses did you try?

just copy-and-paste the URL into a brand new browser so there's no refering page.
anyways, sounds like chromatic aberration to me but why is it red?

before you send it back, have you tried other lenses? I refuse to use the 28-90 that came with my Rebel2000 simply because of its poor image quality. If you must use a 28-90 "kit" lens, make sure you stop down the aperture. f/8 might give you a better image.

Thankyou all for replying, i really appreciated your helps.
i have 2 EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lenses, the redline appears on both lenses with D10. but they work fine on my D30. this made me think it's the D10 problem.
I have used D30 and Nikon D100. they don't have this problem.
it's ok to print 4x6 but when i print any pix 8x10 or above .. it looks terrible..
I was wondering all D10 are like this or it's just mine.

Looks like chromatic aberration to me. Two copies of the same lens should be about the same.

hi daveh,
chromatic aberration is caused by the lens ? or by the camera ?

First thing I thought when I opened the images.
Have you got any in camera sharpening turned on? I ask because it also looks like an image that has had a bit too much USM applied.

i turned on the the sharpness for those 2 pix, but it doen's help when it's off either. the red line still appears.
