Now I know what that is. It's a female Bagworm Moth. She is laying the eggs in the bag and then she'll die. The bag is about 7 mm. For more light I used a home made diffuser for the build-in flash.

So she never actually turns into a moth? That's sad :(

The eggs hatch into larvae which build their own bags. The Larvae turn either into female moth like the one here or into a male which have wings.

I don't know if yours are the same ones, but could easy be, they can be in between one and 30 mm.
