Nice one Mike. Actually near on a 10. Beautiful colour, looks like a 1/60th tripod shot with the 100-400L I'd say.

Here is a couple from me. Although taken in January.
Noisy little buggars. I have an A-frame house with 9 metre glass at the front. We have one of these crash and burn every couple of days. You think they would see their reflection and at least try to avoid the other lorikeet!:D

These guys (well their cousins) have been waking me up for months. I've a bottle brush right outside my bedroom window that they love. Often I'll take the screen out of the window and stick my head and camera out to get some close ups.

Beautiful birds - we have some in the local zoo, i love to go in there and photograph them. You are so lucky to have them in your gardens.
