Hi there,

I'm a digital amateur w/ a new G3. Would love to get some comments/criticism on the pics I've posted on this website.

Please be honest and tell me what you think. Thanks!!!

The shots you've posted are quite nice. I really liked the framing of the tall building with the flag poles, and the wild flowers with the building in the background.

Of the two shots of the walkways under the canopy, I enjoyed the black and white more as it had more detail in the canopy (though I think the colour was a better composition.)

The building with the clock, may have looked better in landscape framing.

The sailboat was smack in the middle of the frame. It looks rather static there. Try using the thirds rule with it.

The statue shot is nice, but kind of static. Perhaps a different angle or lighting could have worked well. Also there is some window frame at the top. It's a distraction.

No problem, but I hate goign through a whole bunch of pictures. There are more posts to review and more sites to post.

Suggest you post one particular shot and you might get more comments.
