Hello, all!
I own a 10D with a 17-40mm f4L USM lens. I want to purchase a square filter system (I need to use Neutral Density Grad filters) and would like your recommendations on which system to use. Cokin, Lee, etc.
Thanks for your input!

Cokin.
I can find a whole selection of Cokin P filters at a store within ten miles of home. Anything else, and I have to go to mail order.
I've been using Cokin P filters for about one year now, especially for graduated neutral density.

I second the vote for Cokin. Make sure to get the P size though. I used to have vignetting problems with it on wide angle shots, but that was pre-digital and the 1.6x multiplier. If it does vignette, you can trim off some of the slots to reduce the thickness.
The other nice thing about Cokin is that other higher quality filter makers make filters in the Cokin P size (like Singh Ray).

But then I went out and bought a lens with a front filter size too large for Cokin P.
Damn. Buying rectangular filters in big sizes can be a pain.

I live in Rochester, NY but am at a loss for a good photography store around here. I'd love to have access to a wide selecion of square filters within 10 miles. Anyone know of any really nice stores around here?
