Downloaded combinez yesterday and feeded it with drop pictures this
morning.
Dont think it is the best example, but that's my first try.
For comparison I also attached a shot not combinized :) that's to me
more artistic.

PS: made with 11 picture that I had to resize at 1000 pix height to avoid combinez to crash.

Well looks like it worked :)
I think pics with extra DOF can look a bit odd because we have grown used to judging the 3-D world in pics using clues like OOF elements which if removed actually tend to flatten the image as far as our brain is concerned.But it does have it's uses just not for everything- probably best used in higher mag shots.

I'll have to try it. It seems to work very well.
Do you need to use a tripod, or does it still work if you move a little ?

I used a tripod for this experiment.
I guess it works also handheld , because the pictures did not overlap perfectly. The program aligns the pictures and adjust the magnification, but I guess the pictures should not be very different for the program to work well.
