Throne Mountain

I believe the mountain in the background to the right is called Throne Mountain. I took this while doing subsistence interviews in a small town called Port Alsworth, Alaska.

Makes sense. It looks very similar to Wotan's Throne near Mount Whitney. Great picture of some beautiful scenery, but boy does it look cold!

It is beautiful there. That trip was my first time there and I am hoping to go back in the summer. Port Alsworth is a major hub for all outdoor enthusiasts in Alaska. It has everything from big game hunting, to trophy salmon and freshwater fishing, to hiking and sightseeing. If my boss sends me there again for more interviews you can bet I am bringing my fishing pole!
