both, I made a preset in LR that did small tweaks to the skin tones and blue's in his shirt.. then a ps action that pretty much did a couple gradient maps and an exposure offset.. then alienskin grain.

It actually says TS-E 24L in your gear list, so I guess you mean the opposite?

Hahhaa oh ****. I had to go check. I do own the 24mm not the 45mm.

I thought I owned the 45mm and was wondering why I didn't get the 24mm as it makes more sense , to me, to own a T/S in wide angle as opposed to 45mm.

So my question above is invalid now lol.

Meter, prefocus, then remove the lens from the body and hold it a bit in front of the mount and fire away...takes practice...

Since you actually own a true TS lens...you are probably better off just using that to get the effect. ;)

I have free-lensed before and have the 45 ts-e. The free lensing actually provide more of an extremely narrow depth of field versus a tilt shift effect.

eh.. you're just a few mm's off the mount on (typically) the bottom.. it doesn't take much movement.. and we typically only do it for a few shots.. not a huge dust problem :)

It's really nothing to be concerned about. When I did it I had my right hand holding the camera and left hand holding the lens a few millimeters away from the body. Sure, there might have been a little dust that came in the camera, but the auto cleaner that's on the camera took care of it and I didn't notice it later. Photography is much more about the occasional dust that gets on the sensor. If that's the worst thing that happens to your gear (professional or amateur) consider yourself a very, very lucky person.

That's correct :) You can get more dof, TS effect and closer MFD. If you want more information, then send me a message :)

Oops, missed the other reactions on this one.

I do it practically for all my shots and then there is a bit dust on your sensor but when you are shooting always wide open you won't notice the dust on your pictures :)
