Hey, I'm new here. I've been using a Digital Kiss for about a year and a half now. Spent most of my time using the kit lens but recently i bought a 17-40L and a 70-200 f/4L and i'm loving it. My main problem with the digital kiss/300D/Digital Rebel is that when i use the burst mode, i get...4 pictures. and that is stinkie. So when i heard that the 30D would be comming out i started looking up stuff and hoping that the price of the 20D would drop (being a poor college student.) Anyway, I heard a rumor from my boss @ work that theres a website he heard about from his brother...where you can custom order what you want with your camera for example, if you have the Digital Kiss, you obviously have the battery (BP-511a), the charger for it, among other things...so you can request it shipped w/o the aforementioned items and it'll reduce some of the costs. I just wanted to see if anyone knew about such a website, and if so please let me know!!! Thank you so much! :D

There are rip-off places that will sell you the camera body and then over-charge for the accessories that should be included... I hope that isn't what he's referring to. Reputable places will sell you the "body only" version of the camera, but they will typically include the standard bits that the manufacturer includes... just not a lens. I've not heard of anyplace (worth trusting) that would literally sell just the camera body (unless used).
