Well I have been a 100% Prime user for about 15 months now, and sometimes at the wider end missed having a zoom to save from changing Lenses all the time
any way to cut a long story short I bought one, off a member of this forum a couple of days ago the 24-70mm F2.8 and have 'baulked' at zooms for a long while now, as I am firmly in the prime camp
but must say this Lens is a joy to use, and its pretty sharp, its not as sharp as my best primes but its pretty near
also impressed with the close focusing on it... this Wasp was hend held and cropped by about 100%
the 2 Little ones are my God sons and they popped in this morning, so I Obviously gave the Lens a try on them
both child shots were indoors using my 20d and onboard flash
so I believe that this lens will turn out to be a pretty useful edition to my Kit
