Frankfort KY, Capitol Building

I was wanting some C&C on this recent shot of the capitol building in Frankfort, KY. Yes it is ovbious I pp the sky, I am not very good with photoshop and was wondering if someone would be will to hlelp me out a bit. Edit welcome, just please tell me what you did.

It's a very good composition, but I think it could use a little contrast and maybe take the brightness down a tad. That might make the cloud pop a bit more. Might add a bit of blue saturation too.

Ok, that's about what I did. I may have over saturated the flowers a bit though.

Here this might be better, I toned down the contrast and saturation a bit.
