clicking sound on power on for S200

Hi,
I have an year-old canon PowerShot S200 (Digital Elph) digi cam.
It recently started giving noticeable clicking sound upon power on as well as switch off.
Camera works fine, but I am bit worried about this clicking sound.
Does anyone has encountered such problem ? does it denote any serious issue underlying ?

Hi,
Upon analysing more, I found that it is not related to power ON/OFF, but instead shutter switch.

This sound comes for each click. I could easily notice the sound coming off as soon as shutter window opens and closes.

This doesnt seem good, as it is happening for each click.
Any useful hints ?
