There's not many shots of myself that i really like. I happen to like this one that my partner took on Sat

This appears to need slight rotation to level. Looks good in B&W.

Not actually a level street, but i wouldn't level it either way

Cheers

Nice Sean ... you've been watching Jason and the Argonauts I reckon ;-)

Your Di is a better shooter than you son :p

Great to finally see a face to go with the name Sean! Nice detail and texture in this shot. Don some flowing locks and you can pass off as Samson :) Looks like you're toting a Crumpler over there......

Yup, you taught her well. Cutting your feet off like that was a master stroke;)

Seriously, I really like she stopped down here, maybe to get the light but Bokah'd this baby wouldn't have worked so well. The curve and clarity of the background is excellent. Good exposure for sure. I'm sick about that Geekstar too. Looks perfect

I've got shots with my feet in but the above is better, i'll show you later mate.

It is a cracking bag mate, i got to say it

Love the shot. Wish you shot it vertical instead.

looks good, but as stated before, i'd like to see it vertical

It would not have worked as well, the street's just as important as i am to the shot. They're have been less of done portrait

Cheers

Ooh, so that's what you look like! :) Always nice to have a face to go with the name. Nice shot as well.

Nice one, Sean!

I like it shot horizontally. Works better, IMO because of the outstretched arms. Plus, if it was shot vertically you'd probably have had a blown-out sky.

The only thing I'd do is rotate the image CCW by .25-.50 degrees (look at the vertical lines).

Nice pic. I reckon having it a bit darker/contrastier would make it look a bit 'harsher' - this is a machester back alley we are talking about, exaggerate it a bit ;)

Nice pic. Shame about the manbag tho :) :P

[PS: You can rip the mick out of me something solid when, at some point, one of the gits in my office gets a snap of me in my trenchcoat...]

Shot not needed ... just the thought of someone in a trenchcoat is enough :p

I would like to see the versions without your feet cut off. I know you said they didn't work as well, but I'd like to see it for comparison's sake because it bothers me in the current shot that they aren't there. Other than that, I really like the photo. Great B&W conversion and contrast.

I still prefer the first it's more in your face to my eyes

I think I like it better with the feet in, but maybe with it cropped to show the same amount of the wall as you can see in the feet out shot. Might be the best of both worlds.

I never crop my images, my partner took this shot so i could make an exception. But it would be one or the other really

Simply by sticking my hands on the screen i how it looks and it's not for me.

I actually like the feet left out, look a little surreal, more i see the more it look like i'm leaning back

Thanks again pal
