I just bought a 10d and was wondering what everyone else does to protect the LCD on the back of the camera? Any suggestions would be apprciated.

Nothing yet, but I have been looking at some clear protector screens listed on Ebay for about 10 bucks.

The LCD is already protected behind a plastic sheet. What you are touching is the plastic sheet. So, you are looking for something to protect the plastic sheet?

About the only thing mine gets abused by is a sweaty nose.

And the sweaty nose problem can be fixed with the eye piece extender... :-) Best $40 I spent!!! (well not the best but a great idea).

Well, my eye extender only cost $15 and it DEFENITELY the best $15 I ever spent. Heck, even my wife supported that purchase!

I have been trying forever to get the eyepiece extender, but it was always out of stock or on back order, where did you find it?

Thanks.

I got mine at my local shop for $13 but it did take nearly two months to arrive. Right after I ordered it, someone posted that Canon was redesigning it slightly to fit the 10D better so that may explain the backorders. If so, they should be much easier to get now.

Go to best buy and purchase some PDA protectors. You will have to trim them to fit the LCD but they work great for me. I also stuck one on the top display.
