I don't think it sucks at all.

I think having it off center at a relatively wide angle like this (what lens?) stretches the front end of the car out a bit though.

nice car, I like the pic, the lighting is neat but I think it would look better with a little bit more space in front of the car and also would be nice to have the wheel turned facing out instead of in

A bigger photo would be nice.

I think the angle of the car is off slightly, and as mentioned, the wheel needs to be turned to its right. If the angle was different, the bonnet of the car would have been exposed a bit better, and those foggies would have stood out more as well (foggies can make a car picture I think)

Woah guys a tad harsh? I think you nailed the exposure and lighting in this picture. Also, the location seems to be a pretty neat place. I think the thing you need to work on is composition. The wheel should be turned inwards so you can see the face of the rim. Also, I think you need to zoom in a bit more. Try to shoot this car/location again.

EDIT: Also, you oversharpened the picture. You can see distortions on the lower door trim.

What a sad comment. From the pictures I have seen from you I wouldn't open my mouth.

The car is lovely...much respect to all AMGs! The shot is good...lighting is really good...not oversaturates, which is important! But like said before...the composition could be improved. I agree with suggestions regarding the rims, and can i also say that the car is a little too squashed into the corner of the image...
But nice shot of a nice car overall! ;)

my point is that he bashed my photo without explanation. this is a photo forum and we generall comment on the photo, our work. composition and all. to call the car i am shooting Ghetto because its a bmw with big rims is idiotic.
i asked him to explain what he meant. he never did so i assumed he said it for his amusement.

by the way, which photo that i've posted sucks? i usually post sunsets. you should've commented. i am here to learn and not to bash(besides this retaliation post).

i'll post a sunset photo i shot within this week. you tell me what you think what i ned to make it better?
i'm just here to learn like everyone else.

So you needed to bring all of that to a new thread? I don't know why you take such offense when someone made a comment on the car and not your work.

I never said your pictures "suck". Have you ever heard of "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones?"

I don't think we should hijack this thread anymore. If you want to discuss this further please PM me.

NOTE: I forgot to mention one other thing Mike. When shooting in parking lots I always like to clone out the painted parking lines. Some may consider this cheating or "unnatural". I think it makes for a better less distracting picture.

wheel needs to be turned the other way. and it might be underexposed a tad. but if the wheel was turned the other way so you could see those nice AMG calipers and rotors, plus some exposure. it would be dope.... in my opnion

whoa, what is this? e-fight on POTN? C'mon guys.

Anywho, awesome car :). Love how it doesnt sport the tri-star in the front...or do all AMGs not sport that? I forget. I love the picture too, seems like its perfectly exposed. but i think if you had a tad more to the left of the car, it would have been better.

oh, and I think the wheels should have been turning the other way.
