Hi,
I'm trying to 'break into' the field of sports photography, especially football. Does anyone have an tips they can share about the best way of going about it? Should I approach some local football teams and ask if they want any photos taken? Or should I just bowl down there and take photos in with the fans?
I have a 5D but thinking about buying a L series zoom lens for shooting.
Thanks,
Loz

Getting known around a small club can open doors but i would speak to them rather than going in with the fans, that way you can go pitchside which is essential if you want to get some good shots...
