Don't think I've seen one of these posted here. It's my version of a stick insect- it's actually a water measurer (hydrometra) .Normally they walk slowly about on the surface of water but this one decided to do some land measuring :)
About 11mm long.

No- no eye shots, this is the first time I've managed reasonable whole body shots- they may not move fast but they don't tend to stop still and always walk away from you :)

Thanks Racketman- they do look more interesting close up than they do on the pond- I like the position of the eyes.

They are interesting but difficult to photograph- they always turn away from the camera when they see you :)

Not quite the size of a stick insect- to the naked eye they look like a small piece of wire on legs :)
