open the a60

has anybody tried to open the a60 camera? instead of send the camera back, i might try to fix some minor problem, but strugle to open the back of the camera.

I have not opened my digital camera. I have opened other mechanical/electonic cameras though. Keeping some alive for a few extra years. Be careful. Inadvertant damage is extremely easy. It's also easy to forget which when how when putting it back together.

Make sure you have removed all the screws. Often there are tiny scres hidden in holes, so look for little holes that are deep, and slide the screwdriver down and open it. I personally wouldn't recommend it b/c it voids your warranty so you might not even have the option of sending it in after. Whats the problem w/ the cam?
