Hello All,

maybe a strange question. But I have a Animals exhibition and with this groups as birds and dogs horses etc etc

But my bird section is growing to big and I want to split this one up into

Animals |- Birds and in ths birds group the real groups like storks, grey heron and many more.

is this possible now? with version 1.55 rc4? or is this possible in the new version 2.0?

regards Walter

As far as I know that's not possible now. You probably have to wait for EE 2.0.

No, there is only one level available in groups. So groups > albums and no subalbums.

But maybe you can use categories in your birds album. Make a category storks, heron etc. and assign the appropriate category to your images. Then you can select all the storks or herons from the category menu in your birds album.

But then you still have Birds as exhibition name and not the name of the category. If you don't need that the suggestion would probably work well for you.

From what Pekka has posted re the new release full nesting (no pun intended ;) ) will be possible in ver 2.0. It is the "new feature" that I am most looking forward to as it will really help me to tidy my gallery up.

I've just started on EE, and I think it's great. I'm also working with a large animal database, and trying to fit in the categorisation of species.

I'm working my way with a static page of a few links at top level, followed by groups, then exhibitions and then gallerys... is that how you all are doing it?

Thanks.
