So I had to break out the 400 5.6L. Just went out on the deck around 5 PM, so of course most of the birds were directly into the sun ;) Got a few shots though. (The aforementioned 400mm 5.6, ISO 200, F8 @ 1/500 with the 20D).

I really like the colors of the robin against the tree on the first one. The RWB would have been stunning against those pink flowers if the light was better? I think these dreaded birds have some kinda cloaking device to throw the camera's off.

Nice shots of the robin. Nice pose in #1.
The RWBB appears to have some red color cast (branch, bill).

really nice sharp shots hard to pic a fav out of these but No2 with the almost marble effect background wins for me .
