Battery question BP-511 vs BP-511A

What is the difference between the 511 and 511A ? More power ? will the 511 work in the 20d? I have a bunch of 511 's with my 300D and wondering if they will be of use if I upgrade to the 20D or are they lost to me ??

The BP511a is 1380mah compared to 1100 for the 511. Both will work fine with the 20D 30D 5D 350XT or 300D and a number of G series cameras.

I had six BP511 batteries with my 10D, and only bought one extra BP511a for my 5D. I have found myself in situations where I was without charged BP511a's and had to use the BP511's in the 5D, and in my case they deliver about 1/2 to 2/3 the run time as the BP511a batteries, but work just fine.
