refurbished canon 10D's

I was curious to know what your respective thoughts were on purchasing a refurbished item (Canon 10D). Obviously, the Canon 10D is a bit expensive and although the Digital Rebel will soon be out on the market (less expensive), I wanted guidance on whether or not refurbished items are worth the money saved...

Where are you buying from?

To me that would be the biggest question,. warranty and customer service availability and duration.

If it still comes with a full Canon warranty (as many refurbished products will get from there respective manufactureres) then I would go for it myself.
