I wish I saw more of the window to get an overall feel of the situation. Oh, and I like the right dress best. ;)

This is one of the first pictures of yours that hasn't really done anything for me. It feels constricted like Claire said. I don't like the fact that the writing on the window is half in the frame and half outside. Also, it would have worked much better, I think, if the shop window were one big pane. The frames cutting through the scene don't help, nor does the fact that the middle one is coming right out of her head. I think it might have been better as a horizontal with the woman on one side to utilize the rule of thirds; I don't think there's enough of a sense of environment around the woman. It also appears to need a slight rotation. Maybe the street wasn't level, but I would think the building would be built so that its verticals are.

I like the idea and the scene, but I get too distracted by the things I mentioned to fully appreciate it.

Sadly the shops not one big pane not something i could control there, reason it's in portrait is because she wasn't the only person there and she was all i wanted in the shot.

Looks like a quiet street put was actually very busy, so i had seconds to get the shot before she walked of or somebody got in my way, i'm not too worried about levels ect for street shots.

Has more for it then against it, but naturally these things are subjective

Cheers

I figured there were reasons for the way you shot it, and I still like the photo. I was just sharing my reactions to what I saw in the picture. As you say, these things are naturally subjective, but I thought I'd give you my opinion to do with what you will.
