Anybody have any experience with the Tamron 20-40,mm F2.7-3.5 (ASP, IF) . As it's an oldish lens I'm wondering if it works on current Canon AF systems like those in the 10D and 1D. Thanks in advance. david

The 20-40 will work just fine with the 10D. I do alot of landscape and architecture with it and have been very happy with the results. I also use very frequently with my EOS film cameras. My only real problem with the 10D is the lack or real wide-angle lenses so I may be swapping it for a 17-40L and a 14/2.8L to take care of my problem. When Canon comes out witha full-frame sensor for $3k I plan to be first in line!
