Am I missing a plug in or version or something? I cannot see a way to display very useful EXIF info when if this 'view image' part of ZB software (shown above, the RED boxes showing the auto focus points).

surely there should be a way to dock the EXIF info box (shown below) somewhere in the 'view image' part of the SW to see exposure times/ISO quickly?

I like to use the 'show auto focus point' option, hence my need to use ZB, but I just think the SF is useless for quickly showing EXIF data in this 'view image' mode as opposed to in 'zoom, scroll or preview mode' (in the 'zoom, scroll or preview mode' i cannot see Auto focus points at all!...)

Also, I like to use the 'view image' screen as it works better for clarity on my small laptop screen as it provides a large preview so i can quickly delete any unclear or trashy pics.., but I really get annoyed having to switch between ZB and, eg, IRFAN viewer to get EXIF data. As far as I know IRFAN viewer does not show the auto focus points that are generated when taking photos from Canon DSLRs. Please correct me if wrong.

the version of ZB I am on is 5.1.0.41

any help/advise appreciated.

[[[ btw, the first pic in this shot is a blurry one at 1/40 handheld, hence, to the trash can - and that is why i wanted to check exposure time AND auto focus points at the same time...but this I cannot do in Canon's Zoom Browser, or at least, I have not found out how to.. : ) ]]]

Try upgrading. I've got 5.6.0.27 and I get shooting mode, shutter speed, aperture, EC, ISO, FL and WB settings.

Thanks Jon, this is EXACTLY what I wanted, so thanks for pointing this out. I did the upgrade very easily, but I thought there would have been a 'sticky' on this forum regarding updates to Zoom Browser ? Maybe there is, but I have not seen it yet : (
Below is a screen grab of what I can see now, after the upgrade, showing it can display AUTO focus points AND Shooting info (EXIF) on one very clear and precise screen that I can stretch to full screen on my laptop monitor : ) This will speed up my workflow and help impove my dodgy shooting skills I think. An end to blurry images?? Lets see... Thanks again....

Thanks also to Eagle for your kind comments.

Go here:

and click on Drivers / Software for a list.

There's no sticky on ZB updates because the bulk of the people who talk about what they use for PP don't use ZB. I'll take a glance over the latest software whenever I drift to the Canon USA site to pull down the latest camera manual, but that's about it. It's not like camera firmware.
