I shot some soccer today and wanted to capture a couple shots that didn't focus on the players, but captured some of the action of the game...it was tough to do, but I think I got a couple worth keeping. CC welcome.

Focusing on the ball during a rare penalty kick:

like the idea, not sure about 1st one, but 2nd is good. Keep it up

I think the first one fails for me because the guy is in the centre, so I'm immediately looking at a blurry character instead of the ball. If the ball was more central to the photo it might work better (depending on what occupies the space on the left). I like the second one though as it's something different.
