Removing a sun flare

I have this really good photo that has a very slight Sun Flare in the top right corner of it. Is there any way to remove the Sun flare? I tried the clone brush but its way too harsh.

In Photoshop, I did a selection on the upper right corner to include the head of the gentleman, feathered it about 20 pixels (the selection, not the head :D ), and adjusted levels a little. I moved the left slider to the right a little, and the center to the right a little.
