s70 focusing beep

when trying to take candids with an s70, that bloody beep when its finished focusing always gives it away. ive tried:

1) turning all the volume settings i could find to "off"
2) using spellotape to cover the speaker

neither were effective.

anyone?

:lol: Set "Mute" to "On". It's somewhere near the top of the setup menu.
