When I upload the picture, I see the date and time when I use the canon zoom browser EX-date is not on the picture, but in frame of the picture using this software. But when I upload the picture, I do not see the date on the picture. How to get the date on the picture? I only get to save the pictures by date of capture, and that is only on the folder, not the picture.

The date in the frame of the shot is from the exif data that is encoded in the file. To make it part of the image itself, you'll have to edit image and add the text.
Canon also has a program for it's printers called "EasyPrint" which will add the shooting date to the print in the image area (but does not alter your image file.)

How/where do I find this exif data?

You'll need a program to read it, use ZoomBrowser, ACDSee or any other of the many many programs that read the data.
Pix Print seems to be able to print the date on the image too. See: ttp://www.gosunshine.com/pixprint.html
I have not used Pix Print but the web page says it can include exif data in the image.

I used ACDsee, I do not see any date. Now what?
