It's funny, I think I have shots of all the same flowers you have from earlier this spring. Next are the pear, dogwood, and redbud trees blossoming in your area. :)

Nice shots btw. :)

Lovely set. #2, #6 and #7 are great. #5 loses something through shooting through the OOF bits closer to the camera. The others I like really jump out at me from the effective use of inherent shallow DOF from macro to isolate the subject or parts of it.

LOL.......that's funny, but I think that's what we get at the beginning of Spring. As you said, I will have pear, dogwood, and redbud trees blossoming next :)

Thanks!

Thanks, Dave! This is an amazing lens (unfortunately it's a Nik*n lens:cool: ). The colors and bokeh are just amazingly good. Thanks again for your kind words :)

Hi, Pup! Sorry, I don't know the name of it. It's just one of many wild flowers in my backyard. It's very small, about 1/5 of an inch wide. I would like to know the name as well. ;)

Hi John, thanks for you kind comments. I am not a flower person, but I don't like to shoot flowers from time to time. I especially like the dreamy feel of this images. As for #5, I think you are right. When I get a chance, I would give it another go. Thanks!
