Great series Glenn. Love the old Jags but I keep getting drawn back to the Alfa.

Fantastic low angles. Wish I could get as low on our local track. :(

Ahhh.... ohhhhhhh.... woooowwwww....

Beautiful shots of some beautiful cars. I need to get over there some more and take in some track action.

Thanks guys :)

Skip, yes the Alfa shot works quite well. Cars in nice primary colours and showing three different points on the racing line through the corners.

Wazza, Cadwell Park isn't bad for low angles but even so I spent much of the meeting on my knees to get the camera where I wanted it.

The Jag and the Imp shot is fantastic - looks like a cheeky boy trying to outpace a man! :)

If I had an E-type I'm not sure I be racing it! ;)

Great shots Glenn, particularly #2 and #4 with the multiple cars in frame. I'm kicking myself that I didn't drop the TC off my lens for a while to get shots like this. Still, I enjoyed myself going for the tight crops.

Hope the XK race was more interesting then their qualifying!

Cheers,

Simon.

Extremely pleasant :)

I really like the last 2 Jag XK shots. A classic car in every way. But shouldn't that S Type be followed by a MK1 3 litre Granada with Regan & Carter in it ?

Yeah, it's a fun shot and you get a lot of these seeming mismatches in classic races. The fact is though, that round the twisty bits a well sorted littl'un can give a big'un quite a scare.

You know I'm not sure I'd race an E-type either but I am glad these guys do so that I can see the cars being used as they were intended to be.

Really nice angles Glenn. The two Jags are my pick of the bunch and of them the last one just steals it because of the clean background and just the hint of the curbing. Just gives the image that little extra dimension in terms of placing the car on the track.

Great shots!
Always been a fan of old jags and the XK 120 you posted last is beautiful - although I do like the S Type being chased down by the imps :D
