Does anyone know what the Lens mm and Focal mm mean? and if you do how to interpret them?

My guess is the lens is how far you have zoomed in, and the focal is the distance to how far the focus is.

Just a guess, an answer would be better if anyoen has one.

The lens of the camera is 5.4mm to 16.2mm ( 3 x zoom range)
The lens was set to 16.2mm (zoomed in) when the shot was taken.

That makes a bit of sencs, lens is the capability of the camera, focal is what it was.

The A20 reports distance to subject in the exif data - but the A70 doesn't, which is a pain.

Rather odd to take thing out of a camera that are good to use, but then again no 640 in the A80.

Mabey it caused to much problem with speed or some issue, who knows (the focus part)
